You can lie but only to keep a secret.
Don’t you dare lie unless you’re keeping a secret.
A baby boy, the result of a one night stand, threatens Henry Molnar’s vast fortune. The child can’t know he born out of wedlock nor that he’s a violation of his father’s prenuptial agreement. At stake are the millions of dollars Henry has borrowed from the family
What is to be done?
Lie.
Lie as a way of life.
Lie to preserve secrets.
Lie and then lie again. It is best for everyone.
Until it’s not.
Author’s Statement
Doctors, lawyers, and entrepreneurs can twist the truth to support their clients’ cases. Lying about a building’s safety, however, has never prevented a structural failure. Dennis Roth, as a structural engineer, could never tell a lie. Truth supported his reputation more than any particular set of calculations and guided him through his varied life as an engineer, a blue water sailor, and a watercolorist.
Here in Book 1 of “The Molnar Chronicles,” Dennis explores the shape of a life, the life of Henry Molnar, based on and developed by “Secrets and Lies.”
What price will Henry pay for his untruthfulness?
Can he actually get away with a life of lies?
What kind of man would this be?
